Here’s a somewhat reasonably-priced XJ that !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

But the seller has exactly one low-res photo. And buying a vehicle on eBay never fills me with confidence, although that may be just me.

But without pics, why would I even bother to pursue this? Why did the seller bother posting it?

Also on eBay, an amazing Jeep with an amazing price. Amazingly bad price despite its condition. CP.

This sort of thing confuses me so much. It’s really not that hard to take and post a bunch of images, so I figure either there’s a lot they don’t want you to see, or it is an outright scam.

Halfhearted listing = significant other is forcing seller to put it up for sale. Seller has no actual intention of letting it go.

I’d ask for quite a bit more scratch if I were him.

3,000 is a lot for a 270,000 mile car.

True, but classic SUVs with this rare a desirable combination of engine/transmission/drive don’t generally come cheap, speaking from frustrating experience.

I’m just saying if I didn’t want to sell I’d use those attributes to justify a higher ask. Last one I found was around 8k.

Car, sure. $3k is cheap for pretty much any Jeep as long as it runs/drives.
